search is always your freind learn how to use it and you will not have to wait for a silver platter answer as its all been covered 9 times out of 10 on here previously.

John

PM me your Email and I will send you a scan of the instructions that came with my kit, it looks to be the same.

2 blue fittings into the back of each of the alloy housings.
the smaller of the 2 fittings goes into the housing on the right and is the one that screws onto where the oil filter would normally go.

the other fitting goes into the housing on the right and is where you will screw the oil filter onto. did you get hoses with it?

Thanks guys,
yes john i know it's your pet hate,
so yes i did a search before i posted up:D
It came with all hose's and fittings but no
instructions.
Also need to know, do you need some type of
washer between fittings and housing, or are these type
of fittings made to go together without them:confused:

thanks Grant.

Depends if its a squash fitting (banjoType if so copper squash waskers are used) or needs tread tape you know the white stuff really thin.

*PS if you are even need to use **thread tape on any application keep any part of the wind away from the end (opening) of the fitting and reverse wind to the direction to tighten up the fitting.
**Sealing a pressurized oil lines & fitting is critical, you dont want hot oil everywhere leaking or bursting.

Good Luck let us know how you went with it!

Is it for a 4G63t or 4G93t? The later I'm presuming?

thanks john, i'll make sure i get the tape right.
Yes it's for the mighty 1.8 :D
dose anyone else with one of these kits on the 4g93 run a thermostat?
i'm tossing up weather to get one or not.
I'll post up the guys details when it arrives, don't want
give anyone a bum steer if it all turns 2 shite

Thanks grant.

Since this is more designed as a oil filter relocation kit you can put a cooler in one of the lines but I am un sure as to how you would hook a thermostat into the system as you can't cut off flow to the filter, you would have to tee the cooler in somhow.

Richard, vpw.com sell them, they redirect 90% the oil back to the motor untill a set temp is obtained then it flows 100% through to the cooler.I assume that if evo's come
with thermostats in there oil cooler system that they would
be beneficial?
Iv'e sent you my email.
that scan of the instructions would be very handy ;)

Thanks grant.
