I am going to fit an Oil cooler when I fit an oil filter relocation kit to my 4G93, I am getting rid of the standard water cooler. What I would like to know is what order would be best:
A. Out of block > Filter > Cooler > Back into block or
B. Out of Block > Cooler > Filter > Back into block?
My thoughts are that A. will be good because the oil will be filtered before it goes into the cooler meaning less chance of the cooler blocking up, however B. means the oil will be cooler before going into the filter which may be better for the filter operation. I'm just after some thoughts and opinions on what others have done.

Mate i went with A when i hooked my cooler up,
i allso used a trust relocation block with thermostat
in it, it cost a bit more but it works a treat and looks
very "bling"
let me know if you need help with the placement and
position of all the bits as it took me months to work it
all out.

Another for option A.

Just buy an oil filer relocation kit, and then plumb the cooler in to the return line

That sounds good, I just have a standard relocation kit, I kno one with a thermostat would be the best way but oh well. Post up some pics of where you have mounted the oil filter, that is probly the only thing that I will be fussing about, being a mechanic I kno how I want it so I don't get oil everywhere when changing it, just gotta figure that spot out!
