Meaning they all have the same thread, internal valving etc and rubber seal position just the over all dimentions are shorter, fatter, longer etc?

I got a heap of Z411's off ebay cheap, if anyone wants a filter or two $5 each at a meet or cruise! I change mine often enough but I think it will take me a while to use all these up! Even after I rebuild a motor and change the oil a few times while running it in....
 
has anyone here used the ralliart competition oil filters with the
inbuilt magnet?

a few guys i know rave about them but the problem is the price

What is wrong with just puting a magnet on the outside of your filter, I reckon it will have the same effect, the metalic particles will be stuck to the inner wall, then you can just change the magnet onto your new filter each time.
 
nothing wrong with that at all rich.

the ralliart ones have other bonuses too like low amount of oil bypass etc...

i think i will only be using one for run in at this stage unless i buy in bulk
