oil thermostat "killer"

Im fitting a J spec oil filter housing, the one with a oil thermostat and want replace the 'stat
with a TOMEI oil thermostat "killer" (its just a check valve) but the only ones available say for evo 4 to 10
TOMEI web site says 2 slightley different part numbers for evo123 (same as VR4 but no longer available) and 4 to 10
does anyone know if there all the same and will the evo4/10 one work ok???

HKS list the same part number for Evo's 1-9. As does JUN.

Have not tried first hand.

yeah the thermostats that are made by HKS JUN etc say they fit evo 1 to 10 however the TOMEI check valve that replaces the thermostat
so the oil flows continuously through the cooler only suits evo 4 to 10
might just buy one and see if it works i suppose.
