Technically driving an evo in vic on your p's is illegal due to the high powered vehicles law.
But there are plenty around.

hmm i see .. cause i'm in the middle of dillema here about that .. been driving here about 7 years now .. but i just swap my licence from overseas licence .. and it just run for 2 years ( licence renewal ) thats why they give me P instead of full licence

i drove my evo on my p's.. as long as u dont do anything stupid or try to be a hero then the cops normally leave you alone as they mainly target the other imports.. ie skylines etc.

Bought my evo and I was still on my P's.
Wasnt really a big deal as my other car was a cop magnet and I was so paranoid when I drove it.
Coupe with T-wing , lowered,fat chromes and bodykit u c.
Have not been pulled up once in the evo.
Goodluck with the search anyway.

i have an evo on my p's been pulled opver once just becoz the cop was curious as he heard it blow off an had never seen one before didnt say much else though...
u dont tend to get hassled as they sorat just look like lancers with kits so cops dobnt pay much attettion
having sed that if u drive around blowing off etc ure gunna get done regardless of wat u drive but they are hot for wrx's skylines etc traditional high powered imports

recieved a $235 fine. that still sucks, thats why i hope i dont get done, i would rather spend my money on my car then fines but then u cant really stop them from happening...
i'v never been pulled over once in my car.. thank god for that... though the white bonnet dont help LOL, but thats getting resprayed asap...
u dont really get bugged if u got a high power car, they just throw a canny on ya car n off u go, never say anothing how the high performance for p-platers
