Paint codes..........

OK I need to get my Evo guards,Bonnet and front Bumper painted to match the rest of the car.

Im pretty sure the colour of my car is MONACO RED.

Can passion red or palma red substitute as they are pretty close too?

I am planning eventually to get the whole car resprayed but just the evo parts first.

How do I go about finding out for sure and getting a paint code for it so as to buy the paint?

usually the best bet is to take the fuel filer cover off the car and take in to get the colour matched off that,

other that that you might be able to use the genuine mitsubishi paint code to match it up

I did indeed, it was the E2 blue colour like this:

I cant remember it having a green pearl through it, and i even put an E3 front on and got it sprayed after a nose to tail. That was a long time ago though. If it looks like that, then yes its a factory colour, and YES it is called moonlight blue

Hi guys,

We uses Debeer paint at the panel shop I working part time. So if anyone wants to know the name of thier paint just look for the paint code under the bonnet and I'll look it up in the system for you. And if you want some formular to mix the colour just tell the the colour code and how many ml or litre you want and I'll look it up for you. Note formular are used with Debeer Bero500 2Pack paint. If you required other type of paint I can try to look it up as well but might not be in system.

that's my other choice as the front half of the lib has the e 3 black choice of my colour will be what ever i can get colour touch up spray in so i can touch up bumpers ect. When and if nessasary

I have had a look on the plates under the bonnet of my GSR, and it says

Paint: GF

I've not been able to find any codes other than one that said - GF/H81

Am I right in assuming that the GF code will be the same as the H81 code?
