yea, thats the main thing i gotta fix up but i wouldnt mind a respray of just the red.
Its possible to get a new roof yea? or else Im happy getting the roof repainted every few years if the rust does come back.
I got a qoute the other day, a mob on the southside to sand the roof to bare steel and painted. $400

Last time i checked you could still get new roof skins and the inner support rails, but they had to come from japan. Not cheap tho about $1000 just for the new roof and supports but it is the only way to stop the rust from ever coming back.
I plan to get one for my cyborg
you could just bare metal the roof try a bit of rust converter and bog the holes but i reackon youd be lucky to get 12 months out of it before it comes back or comes out somewhere else.
Really depends on how long you want to keep the car for ??

I could almost get a set of coilovers for our cars instead! haha but I know I wanna get rid of the rust for good, I would like to car the car for awhile since I've done lots on it.
Any cheaper for a group buy? or is this straight from mitsu japan

Yeah that price was deliverd when i looked into it last.
Ive asked travis(sivart) to get a price through his work at knox mitsubishi.
Yeah its not the cheapest option thats for sure then probably looking at another $1000 to fit and paint it so its defiantley only for the car ya plan to keep!
But at least once its done you know it will never come back.
The other option is to find a second hand roof that isnt yet showing any signs of rust and using the skin off that If you can find one.

Yeah if you have a good donor roof that will work too.
There is bit more work involved in removing the roof skin from the donor body before it can be welded on but if you have one just lying around then why not use it.
