Phillip island

Well me and the missus are coming down to stir you Vic lads up in the start of November. Is there anything cool around melb the island etc???

I herd of a go kart track around the island some were can anyone confirm if its any good???

Any way down for 6 days, so i need a few ideas on what to do/see?

Also whats the beer worth down there???

I just went to Phillip Island a few weeks back and Go-Karting is not bad but very busy.
Sessions are all 10 mins, none of the packages available like most Go-Karting places.
Great Karts, Equipement & Track (The Go-Kart track is a smaller scale of the actual Phillip Island track and is located next to the real track).

Near by you have the usual Phillip Island places: Penguins, Chocolate Factory, A maze n things etc. Stuff you see on the websites...

Penguins are a must !! You could take a ferry out to see the seals etc. There are plenty of fishing trips etc. Where are you staying? Cowes?

I just had a mini break with the family down at Phillip Island and for once, did the whole touristy thing and loved it.

did the 3 park pass, saw the penguins, the farm on Christie Island and the Koala Conservation park.. kids loved it and it was actually pretty cool!

Chocolate factory is a must for chocolate lovers and i scored a free 10 min go karting session as well!..

we are staying at silverwater resort in san remo i think. we will be getting down there on friday the 5th and leaving on the 12th.

Well i think we wont be boared then, maybe you guys wanna meet up or something?

Whats the transport like around melbourne and the out skirts? I was thinking driving to a good located train station and catching the train into the city...
