Wow... amazing photos!... you have some really good angles, and have shot from good positions

What is your equipment?

300mm +
f2.8 or higher?

Thanks! 300mm+ yes, f/2.8 I wish! 'Only' shooting with a 100-400L it's not the fastest of lenses out there but in my mind the best value for money short of going for the primes. Have had the pleasure to shoot with a 300mm f/2.8 a couple of times now, but the 6k pricetag I still need to talk myself into.

fantastic shots...always in for some good pics whenever u post pics

That Green EVO 8 look like its getting ready to hit Chapel Street LoL (cut the springs bro fully shick) heheh

Did you happen to get any shots of the New Caledonia car after it's "incident"?

No I don't. I was only shooting from the spectator area and didn't go look for it in the service park at the end of sunday either. The shot that of it I have posted here was Sunday morning so someting must have happened afterwards? Enlighten me :)

I don't know how he did it, but the front, roof and sides of the car were structurally fine (I think the bonnet and guards were stuffed though), but the rear end was smashed in on both sides and crumpled back to almost in line with the rear windscreen. It was like it pivotted up in the air and came down on its ass, vertically. All the suspension seemed fine too. I didn't have my camera with me when I went past it so didn't manage to grab a pick of it.

There was a fair bit of devastation up there this year.

Sounds crazy. Yeah didn't see any carnage in the spectator area, closest call I saw was the red evo X coming around the corner with the right hand front mag destroyed, lost it a bit and nearly took out 2 photogs across from me haha.
