Hey guyz just bought new intercooler kit and new plumb back bov, anyone know where the best spot to plumb back the bov into the piping, closer to the turbo or the throttle body?

In a nutshell mate - the best place is anywhere it fits!

IMO it won't really make much of a difference, the BOV vents the air out of the intercooler pipe before the throttle body regardless of how far/close it is so your engine never sees it.

id do it near the throttle body just like the factory position (which sits it near/underneath the factory airbox)

there are reasons why BOV's are normaly closer to the TB's, but really doesnt make much diff if your just driving it and not racing it around consecutive cornering at full boost....

while we're on the topic...
for those who have made mods...what are u guys using for this pipe?
radiator hose type of thing??

Hey Matt,

What blumb back bov did you purchase? I'm looking to swap out my stock bov and go with something a bit meaner. As well I'll need to know where to plumb it back :)

Thanks,

dean i have a gemmi rad hose on my pluimb back ahah..
they work well and are the right diam.
Matt

radiator hose is fine and almost perfect size in most cases, considering how much liquid pressure they can handle, it will work pritty well

do you mean where to mount the bov or where to plumb the return to?

if you mean where to plumb it back into then you plumb it back into the intake after the afm and before the turbo.
