Yeah Cam, i wish it could look like that. Don't need the plenum, just a gate sitting on-top of my manifold and a 500hp GT30R.
I didn't do any of the piping otherwise i would've done exactly that, made a coldair box where the battery is.
Despite the size, the battery is fine. No probs starting third crank on a cold morning. I run a 12inch sub and 2x150w RMS amp too.
Needs a good degrease though, rest of the car's paint is MINT but under the bonnet has a bit of garbage from ext BOV etc...
