hey guys,


Im wanting to get car dynoed soon just wondering what sort of power figures ill be looking at.

got a GSR jap spec engine, td04 running 13 pound, big front mount with 3 inch piping, and 3 inch turboback exhaust with hiflow cat, kn pod with cold air intake, iridium plugs and top gun leads.

Obviously not expecting big numbers just wondering what roughly it would be in KW at 4 wheels,

its not a matter of being accurate.. a roller dyno is good for power runs.

a hub dyno is the best dyno to diagnoise little changes such as change in spark plugs etc.. its more a better testing tool than a roller.

hub dyno also doesnt compensate for friction loss when the tyres r turning on the rollers.. so they read whats at the hubs.

but it will have a miss and he will have to fix that and bring it back another day only to find out it has blown the head gasket and now he has to strip it down and fix that, which he will say "FUC**IT" and drop a 2ltr in,
then he will find out it has massive thrust bearing failure, any he left the install too long so he has no warranty! So he decides to bomb the living shit out of it 20k later, a bad receiding hairline & 2 hair die jobs, he'll end up with a moster weapon that pulls 320kws , and then finds out no bastard will insure him.

So in a mad rage of crazy.. he climbs a clock tower and shoots all the bastard insurance agents, the rest of the world loves him and makes him the world leader. HooRAY!

All just for having a little GSR that pulls 121.6 kws (on the first go) before the miss!

I also reckon around 122kw atw taking into account the 10hp increase per psi over stock and the loss in the drivetrain :D

You'll get 400kw atw if the engine was in a Cordia and you had a Ford TX3 intercooler!! :lol:
