i have been thinking a bit now about what i want to do with my evo. now i want to build it up as a daylie drive(this may change) deca motorkarnha?? *spelling? type events track days here and there and the odd drag (rarely)

now my goal is to have a turbo that can rev from like 2000 to 8000 now is there any turbo that can do that can the stock turbo do that?

i been told with a manifold dump and front pipe i should have full boost by 2000 but im not sure if it will hold till 8000ish or at least redline 7000

i do plan on putting cams and so forth in my car and so on im happy with 200kw at all fours so im not after huge power just want that power to come in fast and hold for a long time

sorry if i have confused people pretty much goal is 200kw - 220kw at wheels between there some where but boost pretty much on non stop 2000rpm right till 7000 minimum would love it till 8000

alright cool a big 16g? i belive that is what i have so i guess its time to start looking ideas on getting this to spool faster

anti lag kit ?? lol jk

for 200kws atws the standard turbo will be enough.

ralliart ecu/mines ecu will be more than sufficient.

cams will definately help the process for it to come on boost a little quicker(dont go thinking of substantial amounts)

might want to do your fuel pump (better to be safe) injectors should be fine.

well the plan is to build the engine up so i will get the head port polished match ported and so on i will put cams in nothing to extream fuel pump will be changed soon actuly and i may be getting a whole new exhuast

now how much sooner does a TME turbo spool up?

or will i be better going say a T28 flange turbo so in the long run if i ever want more power there is heaps of turbos out there that will bolt right into place? and get ball bearings one and so forth?

In my opionion, if it aint broke, why fix it. Sure, getting a different turbo is fair enough, but you wont find a turbo that will kick in at 2000rpm, and hold any decent amount of power until 8000rpm.

I rekon you should stick with your factory turbo, and factory head, bar a set of cams like what tenji` said. As soon as you start porting combustion chambers etc, you will need a full aftermarket ECU.

There are plenty of turbo's out there these days that bolt onto your factory late model EVO exhaust manifold, and even edapter plates you can get to make your manifold a T3/T4 flange, without the un-necessary cost of an aftermarket manifold

well i plan on getting a power fc as it is only 200 more then a mines/ralli art ecu

does anyone have the fastes 1/4 time set by a stock turbo evo?

if i remember rightly, im pretty sure Tristan Bowles is the fastest "stock" turbo'd Evo, 10.86 @ 120mph, i've seen rumours of about 250kw atw, i would also assume there wouldnt be much weight in the car either.
