PPG Front diff replacement

could be used without the crown wheel and run as RWD ?

thats equivilent to a locked front diff. and why would you get a PPG unit if you're running RWD?

im looking for ways to go rwd on a spare box without plugging up the driveshaft holes

would work. but a bloody expensive way to do it!! most i have seen use the standard passanger side half shaft with the out removed, get a right side inner cv cup and put in(some even have most the cv part machined off so its just the inner splines left. then get some out cv's and bolt them in to keep the hub bearings together. should also be much cheaper!!

easy way to plug the drive shaft holes is to remove the cup and shaft clean all the grease out of it and throw the cups only back in(without the drive shafts), this way its not hard to reverse back when you go back to awd.
