just a day at heathcote (like lastime)
but have it in conjunction with the wrx club!!

make some friends, enemies.. (dre) lol

im sure it'll gather ALOT of interest!

organise food for all , entry for racers etc etc
(more organised obviously)

Make it prepaid ??!?!?.. limited cars??

maybe have categories??...

stock turbo'd---


aftermarket turbo'd---

-evo's vs wrx's

-rs vs vr4's???

-mixed??

-sleeper

-rice

blah blah blah..

Exclusive to our clubs only (if we can get enough numbers)

So no v8's to make us deaf!.. no bikes.. no mini's (like last time)

im sure with dre's post, the wrx club would want a piece of mitsu for sure

we could aim for sometime in spring?!?!.. so good weather and cool air..

But, eliminate the categories and ring heathcote to see what it'll take to get the track to ourselves.

We also need to get some of the evo's there not just the vr4's.

You need to figure out exact pricing for racing/spectating. Then get the numbers we can have racing halve it and give half to the wrx club to fill. Prepaid is a MUST otherwise people will pull out at the last minute.

Oh, and i'm not racing.

Awesome idea!

If they get 50+ cars the price for spectators only drops to $10 each instead of $15....Also IF 50+ cars turn up AND race, then the Club receives $500 cash back! Prizes? :lol:

I have rung them a few months ago for the Border imports club but we dont have 50 cars :lol:

That was correct at 2 months ago!


So invite gsr-evo-club and a few rex clubs and we shall have a great drag battle day! :lol:

i set 60 as a number because 60 is more then enough but still enough to keep it smaller so everyone can get as many runs as they want.

You have to remember we are basically an AWD club. I have contacted Joanne from Heathcote Park and we are discussing this as we speak.

If we dont get enough cars i will open the floodgates for any sort of car.

So Jon if we get more than 8 cars per club, why not have it on a saturday?
You post the details on their websites or contact them and you WILL get a flood of people ?

Why not VIC supra club or soarers, RWD skylines.....Basically imports and the like, sure they are not AWD but imagine the fun day we could have:
Mitsubishi v's Subaru V's Nissan v's Toyota v's Ford! :lol:

I have mates that will come from the Border for sure! Even one escort turbo, maybe a 180sx, 200sx, 300zx......
