Hi All,
Just wanted to let you all know about a proposed event coming soon to the W.A. Motorsport Calender.
Check out the following:
Time Attack Battle 2010
Raventech Racing is looking to host a new event in Perth for 2010. We would like to introduce a format similiar to the SuperLap Battle found in Japan and the US. The provisional details are as follows;

*
Full day event, hosted at the RAC Driver Training Center
*
Warm up lap, immediately followed by a timed lap with a flying start and finish
*
Minimum of 7 timed runs, which is 14 laps in total
*
Live results displayed on a big screen, showing each competitors fastest time and the top 3 in each class
*
Gourmet bbq lunch provided for all competitors
*
Trophies will be given at the end of the event for each class winner, and top 3 outright
*
Entries will be limited to 25 cars, at a cost of approx $270 per car

We are currently looking getting some feedback on this event. If you are interested, we'd like to here from you, with your answers to the following questions;

*
What is most important to you, quantity or quality. i.e time behind the wheel vs. quality of the event?
*
Is it important for you to include your family/partner in a 1 day event (e.g. entertainment for kids, etc)?
*
Do you prefer a half day or a full day event?
*
If you could include one thing in an event like this, what would it be?

Please email [email protected] with your response.

Date permitting I'm so in for this, gotta get some sticky rubber 1st tho, depending on what the class set up is of course, probably be better off on a decent streeter maybe??

It will be run under AASA regulations.

If you're referring to your standard government car license, then no. Depending on the classing system used you may not be eligible for a "Street Class"

If your car is registered but with a canary (Defect Notice) then it can be hit and miss.

Does that answer your question?

I put my interest in. What class you running in Vaughn?

Undecided Ev, might look for a set of second hand RE55's and enter in the AWD Limited, that way I can use my harness as well, otherwise I need a new set of street tyres as my nexens are getting very 2nd hand, got a no limits event tonite and I'm thinking that will be the end of them :(. Wasted them in 5 track events :p

Just in case you are not a member of other forums etc, this is from Raventech:

The date is confirmed!

The Time Attack Battle will take place on Monday 26th April (public holiday). We have some updates to the event details, and an official entry form, both of which will be published by the weekend.
