Help Support 4GTuner:

needless to say the engine would have to be run exclusivly on 98 ron or maybe even uniteds 100ron e10 (not available at the pump anymore but you can still buy it instore

Honestly...dont waste your money on cheap shit man....cheap for a reason.
Its rubbish.
For the power you are wanting a factory inlet mani will be more than sufficient.

Just like a n/a engine, the exhaust needs to flow, small turbos make them angry, but bigger turbos give more power. The idea of hi comp is so you have good, usable torque off boost and big power on boost, but remember it is proportional.
Tuning hi comp takes more time and effort, remember its all about volumetric efficiancy, and a decomp motor will always have a lower number, thus requiring more boost, and fuel for same outcome.
But why do people decompress a motor, its old technology, they didn't have such fancy programable ecu's in the 80's and 90's.. but they do now..!!!

Yep, agreed. I wish I'd gone higher comp on my build, I actually miss the old setup at times.
However it never had the legs my current one does.
Still...on the street it was amazing between sets of traffic lights.

500$ for an intake is a fair bit haha it's from the states was thinking you could get one from Australia for cheaper or me make one as I'm a boilermaker and yeah was thinking less boost with standard pistons if stuff goes wrong then I'll forge and get new valve springs etc port it grind valves or get f6 typhoon
