Ok..

200kw atw.. It's sort of that tricky zone hey. Big 16g isn't really gonna cut it, and PTE SCM-61 is probably overkill.

It has to be as reliable as possible.. Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

If it going to be laggy as hell? Any ways to combat this? Cams? antilag? :D

Seriously though, if you were going to build up something around the 200kw mark, give me your setup :D

as above. 200kw wouldnt be a problem. Jim (evo 3) has over 230kw with vr4 bottom end, evo3 head, emanage and his 16g with a 20g wheel

price wise wouldn't i be better off with the SCM61 rather than the 16g with 20g compressor wheel?

jon, how laggy are they? any way to combat this?

iv got an evoIII 16g & with 18psi it makes 176awkw, with bigger injectors & 21 psi it would make easy 200awkw i was told by the tuner, but would loose its 'stock' drivability & he couldnt guarante how relioable it would be

Go for the PTE SCM 61 awesome turbo will get u 200KW easy.Unless u hi flow evo turbo with 20G u might struggle to get reliable 200KW

Jon

did you ever get a dyno printout or was that a fugure you were told?

Why did i need a print out? i was there watching the car ramp up.. made 230kw first pull... 235kw next pull.... 237kw.. then on the final run made 239.9kw. I had the print out but meh its somewhere in the garage... to me dyno figures dont mean much.. its the times it runs.. tho my car never ran 'full power' down the quarter.. but oh wells.

Regarding how it drives like.. well u have nothing to like 3500rpm.. then hang on.. it snaps on harder then a GT35R.... but runs out of pull at near 7100rpm. (gt35R goes to 8500rpm)

Garrett GT35R Ball bearing .82 a/r 700hp
Holset HX35W 360degree thrust bearing unknown ratings estimate ~650hp
PTE SCM61 360egree thrust bearing .63 a/r ~600hp

You have to go atleast a MIN of one of these 3 sitting in my room ;)

the waterline doesnt need any 'bashing' at all.. it clears easily.. you will just need to get a new thermo fan as the actuator hits the factory fan.
