I'm very suprised Tim Brisvr4 hasn't been on for a while, I've had extensive chats with him about setting up my GSR with a stock Vr4 bottom end, he's clocked an 11.2@132mph in a Vr4. I'd certainly say jump onto the e85 train if that's your quest. I'm shooting to better my PB this year and to do so in stock bottom end and e85 is key to that.
As for your Car, Cams, bigger turbo and e85. Start with the small things like piss that banjo fitting off the top of the fuel filter and replace with -8AN fittings as that is the biggest restriction in the standard fuel system, get an Adjustable FPR, Bigger injectors, either a Walbro 400lph in take pump, or even a 255lph as a lift pump into a surge tank, and a bosch 044 pump, that's my current setup, will see some dyno time soon, so we'll see, tuner has quoted some big numbers but won't speculate until there's results
and with united staying fast with ethanol e85 is becoming more readily available in qld. just found out my loacl station is now supplying e85 (thoughts now turn to setting up e85 in the dream motor.)
