thats a grill is from a GSR and ZR4, it came stock on my GSR, there really not worth that much, unless it says AWD on it...... and some can be found on the stock modles, SE etc......

I brought 4 of them in my carry-on luggage back from NZ, and then no one wanted them!

it came stock on my ASPEC HG GGSR which is the same shell as the Eterna ZR4 anyway (damn wish i had one of those!!!)

i think the gsr's and se's had a series of horizontal "fins" for their grilles

I would say that someone fitted that to your GSR before you bought it. They're a JDM part for the Eterna only

dun really care much its just a grill but, theres a few GSR's around my house drivin by old ppl, you either get: the stock ugly GSR grill, the ZR4/Jspec GSR grill, or the VR4 Grill on em.....

that and the ZR4 and GSR as the same car minus the AWD.... so doesnt suprise me that Mits Aust has different styles of parts back then....

look closely on the pik, proper ZR4 grill has the holder for the AWD badge on em.........

meh wat can you do mits could have mixed and matched from japan, seeing as all our cars are made in japan and assembled here....most of them....

yer not a fan of the grill, but if you were too cut out the shape of the triple diamond on that grill, place tinted plexi glass in place of the tri diamonds and shove LED lights behind it....... yer could work and proly look off tap lol.......

a Galant GSR and Galant ZR4 are the same car minus the drive line and turbo (depends were you are in the world)

Galant SE/GL- FWD SOHC 2lt
Galant SE/GL- FWD SOHC 1.8Lt (released in asia)
Galant GSR- FWD DOHC 2Lt (japan has the turbo option)
Galant GTi- FWD DOHC 2Lt (released in asia, Sedan)
Galant GTi- AWD DOHC 2Lt (released in asia, Sedan MK1)
Galant AMG- FWD DOHC 2Lt (Hi comp N/A)
Galant ZR4- AWD DOHC 2Lt Turbo (Hatch)
Galant VR4- AWD DOHC 2Lt Turbo (Sedan)
Galant VR4 AMG- AWD DOHC 2Lt Turbo (Sedan)

VR4 and ZR4 have identical Engine, Drive line, Suspension but one is a hatch and the other is a sedan. the ZR4 uses the chassis of a VR4 but the body of a GSR......

AMG VR4, on the back boot lid it says VR4 in the normal place and AMG on the oppsit side. i met somone when i was on holiday in the Philipines that had one a very long time ago, these things are very rare and only a hand full were made........ i have never been in one but friends from overseas tell me that there are a few running around the Philipines and Korea....

check the options that people had when galants first came out in japan....

No such thing as an AMG turbo.
The AMG was a higher powered FWD non-turbo.

Guys in the Phillipines and Malaysia generally take VR4's and kit them up with AMG bodykits

there's also 1.8 dohc (4G67 i think, looks just like a 4G63 anyway) fwd galants (japan), usually badged Viento.

liftback shape is called Eterna, not galant in japan, there's also a sedan eterna, with elongated rear 1/4 windows.

All eterna's have lower roof height than galant's, so all the glass is different.
