i cant find both to compare now sorry- but there is only a few types of rad cap for all types of cars.
small and large kneck,then long and short seal.

I have a cpc brand one now which I bought from a "radiator shop". dont go to repco or bursons as they will ask you what car its for, any decent rad shop will have one on the shelf. cost me about $12. the asi one is not a special type or anything.
even better take your original asi one to be matched up.

I highly recomend to anyone using the original asi rad cap to change it over asap.

By any chance, do RALLIART do thermo sensors to suit the cooler thermostats?

Since the drop in temp will require the fans to come in sooner to maintain a more stable temp.

I know that standard systems usually have the thermo fan kick in about 2 degree's after the thermostat is fully open. ie 82 deg thermo = 84 deg sensor / fan.

Otherwise, I could try and find a lower temp thermo switch to run in the AMG.

I will ask for you, but I would think that the temp has to rise enough to open the thermostat earlyer, if the temp sender was on earlyer it probly would even get to open
