Random Q?

Hey guys i have a random question for you,
I drive as you know a proton M21 coupe, I was wondering if the lancer bonnet would fit on it, or to be exact the evo bonnet. If you have to modify, how much and is it costly

Tell me what you recon.

wont bolt on,

m21s are like a coupe body. you may be able to bolt on the whole evo front though?

The answer is 'no'. Its not a bolt on fit as the sedan bonnet wont align with the guards or front bar or headlights.

You can however convert to a full sedan front end but only after you cut and weld the back section of a coupe guard to back of a sedan guard so you can bolt up an entire sedan front end and bonnet and lights. Its to do with the lines along the coupe doors having to align. After that the sedan parts are a bolt on. Theres a few guys in the RIDES section in the coupe forum who have done it like SICKCC etc.

The coupe forum has a few guys who have done it and put up photos in the RIDES section.

On the other hand, you can still keep your coupe style front end like Paul did and got a custom made fibreglass EVO3 bonnet made for his coupe which actually still suits the coupe guards here: http://orion2001.gallery.netspace.net.au/2WISTD

find a spare bonnet and go ape S##T on that, then if it looks good sell the stockie..

just in case..

Im after a standard bonnet for that purpose, need to make a bulge to clear the timing cover but dont want to do it to bonnet just incase

But its hard to find a standard bonnet, i dont want a taiwanese 1
