Sometimes I wonder if myself and car modifying were not mean't to be. It always seems like everytime I take a step forward, I get kicked in the nuts. If it's not terminal engine failure from dodgy fuel one day, it's performance part failure or even a simple defect, they're all hurdles to avoid and/or overcome once one starts to modify...

The car is locked up 99% of the time and for only two nights I was forced to leave it on the street due to house renovations.

I was woken up at 4:45am as a result of my car alarm and one of a car modifier's nightmares had become a reality. Unfortunately, in the 20-30 seconds it took for me to race outside, the lowlife dropkick was screaming off down the road in what sounded distinctively like a V6 commodore - suprise, suprise! And lucky fo his sake as he would have had a Gray Nicholl's Utimate wrapped around his head!!!

It could have been worse I suppose, but i'm devastated and lost for words as to why these monkeys can and do cause so much damage in the act of jealousy. I sure these scum (if they can fathom) just don't appreciate the amount of time, money, sweat and tears that is involved in building a car. I hope that nobody has or will ever face a similar situation.

That's F@#ked up mate! Feel for you mate, hope you catch the low lifes that done it and give them what they deserve. Chin up and come back bigger and better.
 
I feel for you.. I have been through my fair share of slashed tires, broken locks, smashed mirrors, coke and food all over the car and so on.. It sucks and costs money every time. Just means people are jealous of what you have, what you have done and accomplished. I sometimes think, maybe just not worth having a nice car anymore.
 
fuck man thats shit, where abouts do you live? thats true low life jealousy, and to top it of it was a commodore driver and probably an 99% cahnce they were aboriginal..

What a fkn shit!!! That pisses me off. On the bright side though the windscreen and guard can be removed and replaced. If they damaged your roof or rear quarter then that'll be enough to totally go apeshit. You could always set up a bait and wait for the c*nts to come back again... only next time you and your mates will be ready for the fukers!
 
I had an incident where I left my car on the street, cause there was a house party.. end of the night some car reverse back into the side guard. Never found who it was tho.

Maybe you should just cover your car so at least they don't see what it is.

Yeah, as much as it sucks, EVO-00X is right, it could have been alot worse, like the roof or something.
I would hate to encounter something like that.
Would insurance cover that sort of thing? I guess you would still have to pay an excess or something though hey?

reported to police? I know it mightnt do much, but maybe they'll at least consider upping patrols, so maybe higher chances scum get caught.

Wouldn't be questioning having a nice modded car. Just be questioning how long such people would live if found. :) Probably the nicest built cordia to date, and you still going :)
 
They need to be tied down, stripped slashed up then left in a cave to be eaten alive by rats....

down here in adelaide, there is a gang of aboriginals called the gang of 49 (49 members), have caused menace for ages but lately have died down, break ins, robberys, car theft you name it these guys have done it, all around the ages of 16,17,18.
and all using the dreaded commmodore as the escape vehicle, there has been a lot of that down west and it wouldnt surprise me if you got unlucky there.
 
Fark Man that is not a good thing to see, after all the hard work of getting it like that. I hope you can get it fixed up quickly.
 
Totally agree - it's one of the two golden rules that a real man follows:

1. Don't mess with another man's car
2. Don't mess with another man's woman

As these are the two things a real man would hate to have happen to him.

You got a problem with a bloke - you front up to him and get it out in the open man-to-man.

Anybody found breaking the two golden rules deserves a swift kick in the nuts.

My mate had his car vandalised on numerous occasions, on the last occasion the arse-holes walked right up their driveway at 3am and clobbered every panel with claw-hammers before making a run for it. Get this though - a neighbor saw the getaway car's license plate and gave it to my mate, so he passed it onto the cops, the cops brought the owner of the car in for questioning but couldn't prove anything, so he got let go. My mate confronted him outside the police station and basically told him he'd kick his arse if he found out for sure he was responsible for the damage and the sonofabitch laughed in his face then had a restraining order placed against my mate!?

WTF?!?!
 
I had the same problem where i used to live but they attacked my paint job with a spray can to write fag and homo on my car even though i was living with my fiancee at the time fucking cock suckers i feel for u man

I live in Norwood mate - one of the better areas to live in but a bad place to leave any possessions of value on display, not locked up or bolted down. You don't exactly travel to Elizabeth to find anything of value do you...;)
