I've been looking at a new track car and I was thinking about the 4WD Mirage. However we cant get them into Australia. Can someone tell me why?

Because Mirage's were released as new on the Australian Domestic Market.


You can get them in as a race/rally only.......

then all you need is one of THESE to convert it

Well first off you'll need either a CAMS level 3+ licence or be real good friends with someone who has it, then TRY and find one through the auctions in Japan, which will take time though, they're not cars you see every day......

You could, but you'd end up paying $3-5k+ shipping for a standard one, when you could get one from Japan for $500+ shipping

Not to mention the import laws are the same regardless of the country you're importing from.

You could import one from Zimbabwe, but if it was juilt after Jan 1, 1989 and was released (or a similar model was released) on the ADM, you won't get it without it being a personal import or a Race/Rally Car.
