Rear engine mount help...

I am in the process of changing the engine mounts on the Galant MS i just bought.
I have removed the old rear engine mount, but CANNOT get the new one back in... any help guys??

saying you cant get it in doesnt describe the problem lol

I pulled the old one out, dropping it dwon and pulling it out the bottom.
Tried to install the new one the same way, but cant seem to fit it in...
Jacked up engine as much as i could...

you mean you cant fit the mount up to where it supposed to sit or you cant get the metal thing in the rubber shoved in between the steel mount?
your best bet it to take the mount out if its jammed in there, 2 17 mm bolts holding the mount bracket to the back of the engine, undo them take bracket out and bolt mount back in the bolt the bracket back onto the engine.
will be tight but if yo got the tools then you should be able to do it
