Hi guys
Just wondering if there is a separate loom to connect the rear foglights to an Evo1? Does the standard loom have the right connections?

No it doesn't, well certainly not the evo 1 loom I had

Alternatively you can use a proton gti rear loom and splic it in or simply just add the wiring to existin loom

A few people just dont hook them up or they splice them into their brake lights to work with them

Evo 1 dont have it. Or the holes in the bootlid to accomodate the lights themselves.
You will need to make your own loom up from the switch back and cut the holes in the boot lid for the lights.
Its easy...I have done it to a couple of GSRs.

Thanks mate! So the Evo1s never had the factory rear foglights?

I looked at the back of the boot where they sit and there didn't seem to be a hole for a connector that I could see.

What about on the dash side? There are obviously the two plastic blank plugs on the dash. Would there be connectors behind?

No...E1 never had them.

They dont have the loom on the dash either but its piss easy to make it happen if you have the switch at the front.

Due to my clumsiness I had to buy a new boot for my GSR. I managed to obtain an Evo 3 boot, rear wing and rear fog lights.
Just wondering if the CC GSR wiring has the necessary wires to enable these fog lights to work?

No a gsr wiring harness does not have any of the wiring for rear fog lights... You would have to do some custom wiring as per what Jamo said above..

On a side note you didn't happen to get your new parts from Jimmy did you ?....

Damn, guess I have to do some custom wiring then.

I can't remember the dude's name but it was in Berkshire Park. He's the guy advertising all the spare parts from wrecked Evos on Gumtree.

Yeah thats Jimmy.. thought it might have been.. I was getting them rear fogs in a deal I did with him but you got there before me so he sold them to you...

I got the rear harness off him (the one that does the fog lights, etc) And a few other parts from that same black E3...

Maybe !! But for that to work you would need every other wiring harness section from an EVO also.... LoL...
