hey Guys, finally had to pull the vr4 motor down, spat a balance shaft bearing ( not sure why or how)

so ive got all the top end sorted, vr4 head recoed ready to go, 6 boost manifold to suit the gt30/40, adjust able cam gears and 272 Kelfords

whats the hotness for Conrods and Forgies at the moment, crank/ head stud kits? any suggestions? and what about clutch upgrades

car will be 95% daily driver, but certainly want to have fun in it also and not care for possibly throwng a rod, or killing a piston for those occasional times it will get run down the drags, or the spirited driving on the roads here in tassie!

If I had a choice I would use Pauter rods BUT due to budget restraints I have an Eagle/Wiseco combo that is going great in my 2323cc TC stroker that has ARP head & mains studs.
I'm sure that there will be many opinions as to what are the "best" rods

eagle/scat
wiseco/cp or any other 2618 alloy piston
MLS head gasket with machined block and head
ARP head studs (or L19 if boost > 30psi)
ARP main studs with line boring/honing to suit
cylinder boring using torque plate with PTW to suit piston and intended use (usually around 0.003 - 0.0035")
tri-metal main/conrod bearings
standard polished crank
Balance shaft eliminator kit
Oil filter housing port
new water pump/oil pump (front housing)/tensioner
