As my car isn't an official "daily driver" looks like at day 3-4 it's not holding the same charge to kick her over like it was 6 months ago. It's still got the Jap Batt and from everyone that I've spoken to I'm not going to get anything in oz as good or better quality as the Japanese can produce.

Once I've jumped her and let her charge up I don't have any electricity issues so what would someone suggest ? I'm thinking buying something to keep it topped while not in use, or buy a portable jumper pack to keep on hand for the longer periods of not driving which will be few and far between with summer coming. Just worried putting extra strain on alternator every time it's flat. Or can anyone reccommend a battery of equal quality.

I've seen them solar gizmos but only prob is mine is locked away so no go for that one lol. Just priced "trickle/maintenance" chargers and looking at $60-$70 for an arlec one.

Make the wires longer and put it on the shed roof.
How much current draw do you have when car sits there turned off?

But if you are buying a new battery, just get the biggest and highest cca one that will fit in the battery tray.
I just get the cheapy bigW ones.

Ended up getting new Century Battery 390cca just replaced with bigger terminal clamps and its the same width just a lil shorter. Got a 3 year warranty yay
