There is now a new category- Elapsed Time Speed cameras. On the M1 freeway between Melbourne and Geelong they are now using an array of cameras that calculate
average speed of vehicles over a given distance. I can find out what red light cameras will be the safety ones in QLD through a mate at Garmin if you want.
Cheers !

They call them Point To Point cameras...They are rolling them out in NSW at the moment targetting Heavy Vehicles on Mount Ousley Rd, Picton Rd,M5 and M7 have a look on the poles along motorways you will spot these extra cameras......Wont be long they will be using them for all vehicles.

If they put a chip in our rego stickers to track us via sats above or sensors in the road, we're stuffed.
Cheers !

You could just plank it for a while, then pull up on the side of the road, just before the sensor/camera and wait for the correct time to elapse- if you were intent on speeding

If they track it by satellite, I'll take mine on a plane ride, or post it air mail and see what speeding fine I get sent in the mail
