hey, how long do I have to pay my registration when its due before it lapses, and I need to get a R.W.C?

1 month?

4 weeks??

plus if you get pulled over after it's due, even by 1 day, it's like a $600
fine ....

]you need to go through pits, to check engine numbers AND roadworthy.

As far as I am aware all legitimate roadworthy certificates will have the engine number as part of the checks, a mechanic who doesnt check it isnt doing there job properly and if found to be a discrepincy they will probly loose there licence to write out RWC's

So a RWC will be sufficient? wow, that's awesome

Because my engine numbers sure as HELL don't match up

Ok so just to clarify this situation, if I dont pay the rego after 3 months, the car will be de-registered, and the only thing I have to do to re-register it, is to get a RWC and go for a engine/vin number check?

and thats it??

i just paid mine yesterday (3 months after it was due)

i asked them the question and they said.

"RWC required, no pits"

thats all i know dude!
