Ok, so my car wont start, it just constantly cranks.
so I got a new CAS, and am now trying to remove the old one to install the new one.
However for the life of me, I cant undo the central screw that holds the metal plate over the CAS. Is there some special trick to undoing this screw?
So far all I did was remove the CAS module from the head, and unbolted the cover off the module.

Never found one that cant be undone by clamping the cam drive part into a vice with soft jaw covers...then use a big screwdriver with a square shaft. adjust an adjust able spanner to fit shaft...hold top of screwdriver and apply force down while turning spanner

All good now... I just cheated and took it to a mechanic who undid it for $5.
Now I just have to sort out the coolant sensor issue and the bastard might start properly when cold.

Apparently the coolant sensor is registering the coolant temp as -29 on a 35 degree day
