Retrimming/fixing seats

Hey fellas,

Just curious what you reckon these seats would cost to get fixed..?

I haven't seen a 7 seat for a while so I can't remember how "suedey" they are, but the passenger seat looks like it's damaged in the same way that the drivers seat is.

Can they be fixed, or is a retrim in order?

It's an easy fix for a re-trimmer. However it's hard to get an exact match for the suede look. I took my drivers side evo 2 recaro to a re-trimmer here in Bendigo (he's an official recaro rep), it was the same problem as yours, but there was a slight tear also. He refoamed and re-trimmed the side section for $70!! :shock: I'll take a photo of the material he used, it's not exactly the same, but it's as close as you can get.

Just shop around though because I got some insane quotes.

I don't have a picture of it before it was ripped.

The guy said he could possibly get the correct material but he'd have to find it, order it and it'd cost more. He had that recaro material there, and it was close enough for me.

Jase. give "Aristocrat Motor Trimmer's" a ring. they are on Port Road. my work uses them for every single interior repair/modification. they do very good work.

if u were in melbourne i could recommend one place for retriming of car interior or a person who can repair seats etc he can also repair some plastic bumpers! does a lot of work for dealerships such as porsche etc.

I got someone else who Cartrims and a lot of car dealership uses but his card is in my car so i will put that up tomorrow.

I recoommend their work its awesome and they are great guys!
