Hey guys just want to know if there is some kind of rev limiter?

I accidentally went to 7.5-8K the other day. I would have expected it to cut out??

Cheers

7k is the limit. your asking for trouble if you rev over it, unless you have some stronger components in your head (valve springs)

Would be pointless anyway with a TD05.

well, a 14b anyway, useless above 5k
my 16g has power up till 6,500, never gone past 6.5, but im told it has power all the way to redline

i've heard of people occasionally going to 7500 - 8000 on track days..

not good everyday though..

my 16g/14b hybrid boosts up till redline in my 4G93 ~ 7500rpm...... and its still increasing when it gets there...... (only gets to 19psi and then boost cut  )

lol
on the vr4 it loses power at 5k

yeah i didn't do it on purpose, wasn't paying attention. First day of a working turbo. Kinda caught me by surprise :S

It tells you in the code :-

Rev Limit = 3750000 / X

01 45 8C 01 F4 24 05 03

X = 01 F4 = 0x01f4 which is hex for 500.

3750000 / 500 = 7500

7500 is the rev limiter.

(this is assuming of course you have an an aspec.... no idea what the code looks like for JDMs)

:D Maths can be fun! :D

Least thats what the safc said
Accompannied by people diving from the busstop as the backfires and smoke shot off.
Not healthy to do..really dont need to be that high, but if u miss second at full revs its easy to do.
