Rich or Lean?

Who can tell me if this plug is rich or lean.

Outer ring reads rich but electrode looks lean or hot??

If it was to lean wouldnt the outer ring be like a white greyish colour?

AFAIK the sooty deposit is carbon build up or air/fuel to rich.

Breakage
Physical damage to the insulator nose.
Usually caused by abnormal thermal expansion in the combustion chamber. Maybe thermal heating or cooling shock. Causes as for overheating above.

taken from the site above. but if it were me i would say that the nose is getting way too hot which means too lean.
