Any Journo can mould any story into what they want the world to see - and thats a fact. They can make you believe that Princess Di was a crack whore if they wanted to by showing you part stories, unsubstantiated clippets from yesteryear, uncompromising positions or manipulating spoken phrases out of context in a way which portrays a bias story to the audience. That's why people dislike Journo's  . Dick Carlton was a Journo - fact. But Dick was a Journo known to ask the tough questions that many didnt have the balls to ask, even when he was putting his own nuts on the line asking them. That my Mitsubishi mates is an honourable quality in a Journo. He was probing yet informative and asked the unrehearsed questions we all wanted to know the answers to . You'd sit there watching TV and say "fark! did he just call Castro a wanker to his face?" lol  I dont see anyone on Australian TV who even comes close to his prominence except that annoying reporter on A Current Affair who comes a damn close second. You know the one - 'Mr Smith.... Mr Smith.... hey Mr Smith... can you tell Australia why you ripped off your own mother?' etc. lol
Yes some of the shit he did was cool. But basically if you are a journo on ACA, today tonight, 60 minutes, and 7:30 report is getting there, then you have sold your soul in my books.
