This is just a honest warning & to find out if its happened to anyone else.
Some ppl may have had a good experience with ''Budget wheels and tyres'' but whats happened to me is making me sick.
I rang up the company in regards to seeing lenso wheels for sale in hot 4's etc... and asked him about some kr-5 wheels in 4 stud for my car 17's blah blah.. i believe by the advertisemnets etc they are a pretty big company and work similar like tempe which i have bought from before
So i rang there and the boss answered the phone and in his fully sick voice he told me he had them all i needed to do was put the money into his account and ring him give him my details and 3 days later id get my wheels...
so i rang him back up put $1350 into their account... and then there was ''sorry bro i stuffed it up'' there was no kr-5 wheels left so he reckoned..
And being the con man he is he said ''dont worry bro i have a set of RS5 model wheels here and they are more expensive and light weight so ill do them for the same price''...
so i thought yeah cool cool.. and 6 days later my wheels havent come..
So I rang them to find out what was going on the lady said the boss will find out and get back to me... and a further 3 days went buy so i rang him.. he answered the phone.. I asked him where my wheels were being 9 days(7 were working days). And hes like ohh bro your wheels were damaged in frieght... and offered me a some money back etc if i took the wheels.. and i said no i wanted a set proper new set asap....
And i said look.. if u have a set of 18's in **KR-5** can u send them and ill pay the difference.. i just want and need the wheels... and he had them there and it was all sweet HE mentioned it a few times to like double, double check... so i payed him an extra $200 bucks and another SIX days later some wheels arrive...
I was at work my old man picked them up, I get home all excited and then i look at my wheels...
SOME CHEAP-ASS LOW QUALITY, NO BRANDED, DIFFERENT SPOKED PIECE OF SHIT WHEELS AND F***ING HEAVY.. with stickers on them like he stuck them on saying.. ''RS-GT''... and i was like wtf i payed $1550 for this junk!!!??
I mean i have photos and the stickers are peeling off and theres black scuff marks and shit all over the wheels... and on the receipt it has 18'' Lenso **RS5** wheels white.. and i compared the pictures etc of the wheel its described as and its nothing like them...
Plus i wanted the kr-5.. there was ABSOLUTELY NO confusion with our communication...
Anyway i ring him back up and saying hey man u have definately sent me the wrong wheels etc etc.. like being all chill hopeing he'd fix it for me..
then he claimed the wheels were the newest ones out and that they are all good... and they are new and they were sent straight from the distributer.. then i said nah they arnt even amrked lenso wheels.. and he goes ''wait there a minute your right bro they fucked up'' and then turned around and said there was nothing he could do cause the wheels have already been signed for (my dad at the frieght company)....
he said hed ring me back to find some stuff out..
he never rang back.. i rang back there and they he said was still investigating..
then he never rang back after half hour so i kept trying to ring him and no answer
but get this... The reciept isnt of the wheels i wanted, and the wheels arnt the wheels on the receipt????
what am i going to do???.. i doubt hes gonna contact me back or fix the problem for me.
can consumer affairs etc help me get my wheels or money back??
threatening legal action??? i just mainly wnat the right wheels...
ive never had such heartache over something ive payed for.. 3
days has turned into over 3 weeks.... But i need the right wheels for my twin pot conversion and the car back on the road before i start my apprenticeship in 11 days.. and this bastard has done me over
