I personaly wouldnt deal with a buisiness in an over the phone manner as you have except when sending flowers to my girlfriend at work,
Anyway if you need wheels check out Bob Jane T marts, thats where my wheels came from, $1300 got me 17" wheels with tyres, fitted, with new wheel nuts and chrome metal valve caps, Balanced and a 4 wheel alignment. They are not the best wheels on the market but for that price I could'nt say no, I just can't wait till it's time to spend some money on a decent set of tyres!!

IT GETS WORSE....

This is an outrage

Im so angry right now, I honestly didnt believe something this bad would happen to me in terms of ripped off...
anyway bare with me and read this>>

When I took the wheels back the following morning (hadnt even left my dads ute only one wheel was opened out of its original package which my dad did at the freight place in front of the boss. When i got home i realised straight away the wheels were wrong)..... but the other wheels were still also visable because the way they were packaged...

So the when i took the wheels back... all STILL in the packaging.. which was VERY shitty.... I went and got the boss of the frieght company...
so he could vouch the wheels were getting sent back in the condition they came because he checked them out etc spoke to my dad the day he picked them up.. and HE is gonna state in a stat dec for me with hopefully the employee he ahd looking on...
I said to him ''Mate u reckon i should re-package/reinforce the original packagaing because ive had a massive headahce with this bastard and if i dont package them well he is going to say i damaged them ETC...
The boss helped me reinforce the packaging.. and i didnt have him double check.. i had him TRIPLE check everything... and he also helped me write the adresses on half A4 paper pieces to put on the outside which we taped right up and over...

I left the frieght yard with hope id have my money back and dignity i did the right thing...

So coming back to monday(10 days after i sent the wheels back).. I rang the company..

its my good old mate ''bro''

I asked him ''when my money was going back into my account?''

''UMM, ARGH...Bro i am NOT refunding you for the wheels... 3 of them had CRACKS and SCRATCHES and all sorts of shit on them... they were unpackaged.. i couldnt understand him he was rambling on a million miles an hour...next second we broke out into a MASSIVE argument calling argument... both swearing at each other etc... he goes ''Bro i sent u the wheels why couldnt u just accept them u have been nothing but a headache, u wanted wheels u got wheels why cant u jsut fucking accpet them''.. this was where I said i didnt pay for the SHIT u gave me and they WERENT what i ordered....
still arguing flat out.. he was going off more at me for ''hassling his operations''

he claims he never signed for the wheels and they werent even packaged and werent sent back the way he sent them to me etc etc.. and hanged up on me...

NOW where he has fucked up is... He told me on the phone the few days before the wheels were sent that he would have his distributer send the wheels direct to my door.. and when i rang him he claimed.. '' they fucked up(the distributer) and put on the sob story he wasnt to blame.

But then monday he claims he sent the wheels????????? now what the fuck is up with this... how dodgy and stupid is he..
and where hes stepped in the shit is... '' the wheels had no packageing when i recieved them''
If the wheels had no packaging ,he wouldnt of even got them as the address and con note were on the packaging??????....

To make matters worse if i do get the fucked wheels sent back to me, which i highly doubt are fucked.. The $1550 i payed for them is certainly not what they were worth in the first place.... Hes either damaged or gonna damage the wheels.. claim insurance.. fix them and resell them and still have my $1550
So im sitting here.. $1550 down... no wheels... and no sign of getting either back.

Today I went and seen consumer affairs.. they are willing to help and condfident i could get my money back with the right signed peices of paper from the witnesses and the frieght company etc.. which the boss said he would sign for me...
So im now in a battle to get my money back... And I'm in a massive headache.

I want this company/fuckwit branded with this experience...
I dont wish this on any respected forum members or troll..
because regardless, NO customer deserves this

when i get my money back i wnat this thread on every car froum in aus

I had something similar happen to me..

I went down there (to see the three wogs) and gave them an ultimatum that if shit aint set right i was gonna "make it right"
i was giddy and jitty as all fuk and screaming at him..

he gave it back.. :lol:

nah no photos.. i would say they would just scrape in acceptable the category...

hey dude if i was you i would go up in person.... might be a road trip but worth it... if u see him face to face he cant get around you like hanging up or not answering... and the wheels will probably be at the place so you can show him... also take the police with you if you have to... your main concern is that you didnt take photos of the wheels.... because if you had you could have shown police the con note from freight and the photos and gone back to his workshop.

however. you could get a print out of the transaction reciept og your bank to his account with the con note and report it as you have no wheels and now no money.

so doing that he would have to give you wheels as you have paid for them and then once he does if he gives you the same wheels report it to police as you have reciept stating they should be lenso's

massive headache but you gotta scare this dickhead also another good one is a formal letter from solicitor... just as a warning... then he will prolly jump

Hi guys

Just letting you all know to be reallly careful when dealing with Budget Wheels Tyres in Moorebank (not the one in Campbelltown). They sell COPIES not genuine rims.

I purchased a set of 17" Lenso wheels for $2k off them a month ago. The shop owner told me they are 100% genuine Lenso and even gave me some random number he said he made contact with when importing the wheels. Later I found out they are not genuine for the reasons being:
1. the box that came with them states "Made in China". We all know that genuine Lensos are not manufactured in China.

2. there is a little crack on one of the wheel spokes (they are not really visible but you can notice it if you are colse enough - I am just worried the whole wheel broke and i ended up in hospital!). Copies are not as durable as genuine ones!!!

3. the shop owner said he has been dealing with an eBay guy whom he said is selling high quality and affordable wheels (yeah quality my ars3!). I actually made contact with this ebay guy (posing as an interested buyer) and asked him why the wheels are cheap. He said they are copies and he ordered through Budget Wheels!!!! (he gave me a phone number, i rang and "good afternoon, Budget Wheels and Tyres. How can I help you?" i was shocked.

Also beware when choosing your tyres (I was told by my friend that the supposedly brand new tyres the shop gave me are ractually second hand. I dont know how to distinguish between 100% brand new tyres and tyres with say 95% thread left and I am not a tyre expert so I dont want to judge on this)

My word of advice is that be really careful when dealing with these guys. Budget Wheels Moorebank are not genuine sellers with integrity.

Sue him. You can do this on the basis of breach of contract alone (you contracted to buy lensos, u paid, he failed to deliver) or can use consumer protection legislation.

In NSW you have the fair trading act (see sections 42-44, 53) & the sale of goods act (see sections 19 & 64). You could also use the (federal) trade practices act (section 52ish).

I'm not sure in NSW, but in SA you have to put the other party on notice of your claim. This can be done in SA by filing a Final notice of Claim in the Magistrates Court, and a copy is served on the other party. It lets them know you're serious. Check with the the NSW local court, but I would expect some form of notice to the other party is required. If you want to check out the laws go to : www.austlii.edu.au
