Wel it is looking more and more like I am going to be forced to invest in a cage sooner rather than later. ( hopefully if the 10 is forthcoming! )
According to the rules I only need a 4 point 1/2 cage with side intrusion bars that can be bolt in.
Anyone know where I'd be best off getting this thing made up here?

Got a mate who just had one built for his drag car I can ask who he used if your keen? All I no is you have to get in mod plated and fully padded!

There is a guy round the corner from your place tim that will be doing mine, I can get you his number if you would like

Got a link to the Andra requirements so I can peruse them?

Yeah you can get by with only a half cage. Mine is on the back burner for another month or so because the tarmacs came up and burnt the money out of my pocket.

Hmmm, pretty basic requirements, they don't even mention the need for cds tubing. I note that once you crack a 10 you will need an isolation switch. That's a pain in the ass.

I haven't had a really good gander at all the rules as yet.
Apparently I should already be using a 4 point harness according to the rules....
And I'll need to get a tailshaft loop too.

give me a call tim i will sort u out with every thing u need to know.S/L fabrications for the cage the best on the coast.

I have made an enquiry with a guy that I think lives out your way to see if he will consider it. I will let you know if he gets back to me. Or buy a mandrel bender and we'll do it ourselves.

You need an andra license and log book, have your car teched
tail shaft loop, harness, window net or arm restraints, fire proof race suit, 1/2 cage to run as low as a 10.00, kill switch and I think there are a few more things too.

Well you do the time you pay the price  it ain't cheap, racing definately isn't a poor mans sport

Tim, come and have some fun where there are corners and trees involved. It makes the cost of drag racing look like chicken feed!
