Roof Rust

[SIZE=11pt]I need a permanent solution to the common roof rust, something to fix it permanently not temporarily. Hopefully someone had done so or knows how?[/SIZE]

I have a spare roof (drilled the spot welds out of a spare car and took it off) but i would prefer to fix the roof in the car as that would mean i don't have to get the windows professionally removed.

The car also has a sun roof so one of the roof turrets is partially removed.

You could cut and weld in new sheet but you'd have to be a pro to even come close to getting perfect. Would be less of a job to replace the roof skin I think

Not what you want to hear but the only permanent solution is a new rust fee roof skin

Been covered many times in the past.
I have posted in the roof rust thread all the part numbers you need to give yourself a "permanent solution" which as said above is to replace the skin and possibly the ribs/rails.
Search roof rust in evo 1-3 tech section and do some reading!
