hi just wondering if anyone knows anything about fitting a rvr engine in to a gsr galant mostly on the front and rear engine mount i saw one in Adelaide awhile ago with the the conversion done but dont know where the bolts line up thanks

Um the 4g63 will have mounts on the block for galant. Otherwise not used if it's in a cc. Cc's mount to xmember from gearbox. Then use a galant or vr4 gearbox which will bolt straight onto your block and into your engine bay. Then engine side mount you will need to change coz Evo and vr4 are very different. But again the right mount will just bolt on :)

So in other words you can use stock vr4 mounts or ggsr mounts all around. When it comes to electrics I know the coils cas throttles ect are different on an an Evo to a vr4 and different plugs

oh ok i found this gsr galant with rvr engine useing vr4 gearbox with evo 5 flywheel dose anyone know wat they did 4 he mounts ?? this is the link http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67176262 thanks

what you want for your GSR galant is a VR4 motor and your GGSR (galant GSR) gearbox, flywheel and clutch. that is the easiest way to get a 4G63t into a GGSR.

you can strap everything from a VR4 straight onto the stock 2lt DOHC GSR Galant engine... just run low boost....
