Hey homies so im building my rvr and can use some advice. I have a 94 rvr ssg with a rebuilt motor, ported head,TMIC, reco'd auto and a TD05 20G. My plans for the car are to be able to roadtrip round this great country but still be able to dose around and have a laugh . I feel the things i will need off the top of my head are a aftermarket ECU,FMIC, exhaust followed by a tune. Looking for greatest fuel efficiency but most power output at the same time. Advice would be greatly appreciated on what parts to choose in regards to what i would like to do with the car and prices (broke mofo atm so doesn't have to be the best of the best but still good) and where to locate parts. Peace ✌

Maybe try some of that new Peanut Oil that eddy now uses...
Seriously though, the RVR is the worst car on the forum for fuel economy, weight in town and aerodynamics on the highway.
Very little you can do sorry mate, except just not boost much really.

change to after market ecu get a aem wideband get a good reliable dyno tune then take the 5v output of the aem and connect to the ecu and goto the arf mapping and tune yourself from 1500rpm to 4500rpm and below -35.4kpa this can be set in the ecu software, I have mine set to afr 15.1 when cruising give over 550km per tank open road at 120kph no worries and 400km plus in town, above 4500 & -35.4kpa the ecu reverts to the dyno tune and chews fuel like hell (let the fun times begin) this is an old haltech e8, the new haltechs are easier to use have a platinum in the race car. you will have trouble with the idle when the a/c cuts in but this can be tuned out on the throttle response maps.

have been to 17 but found it did not help economy and performancy 15 seems the best for all situations, did not want to blow motor,

When i installed the E6 ECU I ran it with the hsgr 510 injectors until I got all the pins right. On a lean cruise (highway), AFRs where around mid 15 with reasonable economy I reckon and felt pretty toey. I changed to the 560s because on spool it was too lean.
When i get to tuning, i will aiming for mid-low 15 AFR on lean cruise for sure.
The stock hsgr will lean cruise in the mid 12''s, and under boost is less than 10....
