Yep, have pump and reg. And a GT28R, just cant push it past 20p without it cutting out...AFR's are fine..

Ok time to go shopping..

Anyone know where i can get an Evo 1,2 or 3 matching Ecu, Afm and injectors. Or how much they go for? (Will post in WTB section as well)

check todays quokka and then use the number to call me

if you want to be pushing past 20psi id be looking at bigger injectors that 510's and also as Dane said, an aftermarket ECU or chip your current ECU.
If you go aftermarket then afm wont be needed, but if you wanted the ECU and AFM, gtipower is selling some, think he's on ere too, otherwise

good price too

I thought with the right pump the 510's would be ok?

510's will support around 200-220kw@ wheels yeah?
As others said, id at least be chiping the stock Evo ECU, if not going aftermarket

when i got my car as a 2lt it had 510cc with a walbro pump running 21-23psi

making about 206kws

having said that it cracked a ring landing though that was from detonation i think or crappy timming and prob a bit to much boost for std internals

Maybe 510's arent much chop over 200Kw then...do you Know what your AFR's were?

i know the injectors were at max about 90% or something like that.

AFM was fine at the timeit was on the dyno. cant remeber the number though.

What would be the maximum maintainable boost people would run through a EVO II Engine.

Mods

Air Filter
Cat back exhaust

This is a track car so will be at full throttle most of the time.

Your E2 comp is 8.5:1 yeah?
Id be saying 18-20 psi.
When you say maintainable, what do you mean? as in not to pop an engine......?

It isn't like driving on the street where you cruise around and only give it full throttle every now and then.

I want to make sure that with the boost level I set I can have the car on full throttle for the majority of the 20 min sessions and have no dire consequences.

I think I might start around 14-15 psi and see how I go.

I was under the impression that you were running around 18 psi already, i know a guy that tracked an E III and had headgasket problems when he kept it around 16-18 psi, it had the 9:1 compression though.
With the correct tune/cooler etc, you could run 18 psi on track, your set up is pretty stock though by the look of it so 1 bar will at least be safer espesh with stock cooler.
