The answer is pretty much no.

I've tried previously.

You need to be a CAMS affiliated car club with at least 5 years of history with CAMS. You need to hold regular motorsport events and then you need to slot into the full calendar.

Also the guy who runs the place is a FUCKING DICKWAD.

And if he reads this I hope he understands that he's a COMPLETE FUCKING BLITHERING RETARD.

I have all the information on Calder, Winton, Phillip Island, etc at home.

yes i have since talked to jon bout it and clearly calder is alot better option, i assume that i am like alot of other on the forum in the fact i want to put my car on the track but am to scared to go out with others because of the chance of crashing into them?? so maybe for a future possible event we could have a day there running hot laps (as in 2, 3 cars on the track at a time) and maybe cut some quarters?? i don't know just putting it out there for something different as i was to scared to commit to the last race idea that was put foward. let us know what u think??

There are regular sprint events at most of these track throughout the year.
On the saturdays is a practive day where you got out in classes of upto 8-9 cars at a time. theres no issue about running into other cars at all.
The sunday is the timed sessions with 1 warm up lap 3 timed laps and a cool down lap, again in the same classes.
All you need is a class 2 CAMS licence ~$80
entry fees are about $120 per day, cheaper if you enter both.

I plan on entering many of these next year once i've sourted a few things.

Also at winton they have fun days $25 and only need normal licence, however they run more than 25 cars at a time and i've found if your not careful you might hit someone. People get onto the track and think your racing them and won't let you past.

the sprint days are much better.

Dood I just went to wakefield which is not a big track and they were putting 15 cars on at a time sometimes a couple more.

While it sucked because you wasted time trying to get some empty track no one hit anyone or came close.

Everyone there cares about their car as much as everyone else and there are rules on passing.
