Hey guys chassing a break upgrade any tips or hints I'm chassing dual pot front what did you have to mock up and change I know evo 3 is ment to fit just not sure on what parts exactly was hoping to retain the 4 stud if I could but not too worried will be going new rotors anyhow so can buy to suit ATM my car is going very very well and am looking at getting the exedy sports ceramic button clutch with a modified pressure plate it goes well breaking traction at first second and third gear when the boost kicks in now just need the stopping power as for gearbox wise should I retain running this gearbox and some how add the LSD from a gsr or what way would you guys go ?

4 stud you'll want either gsr or evo front hubs to run 4x114.3 pcd not sure for the rear except gsr hubs with just the outer cv cup in them

If you go EVO or VR4 rotors and twin pot calipers, talk to Matt or Greg at Brakes Direct
https://www.facebook.com/brakesdirect
They are resellers of DBA rotors and have Forza pads for VR4 that are really good. I run them in my rally vr4, they work cold and get better. They will be more than enough for your road ca
HH5 VR4 TURBO 9/90 - 93 F Part #402 ○ ○ ○ Vent 276mm
Tell them I told you.

So I have been told that evo 4 dual pot calipers and evo 4 296mm rotors should work and that I shouldn't have to change my hubs at all ? I thought the hub and bearing was all 1 piece

This is what I was told by the people that Ross cox mentioned above

Cool. Your best bet would be to get the 294mm twin piston Mitsu setup found on Evo 4 GSR, and later model cars like Ralliart Lancer.

Match that with some DBA 4000 Series T3 rotors ($200 each) and some QFM A1RM pads ($119 for the set, Ferodo DS2500 or Project Mu HC+ equivalent) and that would be a phenomenal setup from what you have now!

Not sure what you'd get the calipers for, but I wouldn't be paying anymore than $150 for the pair.your standard hubs should work fine

I'll say it again..Evo 4 are 5 stud...and guess what? So are the Ralliart Lancer they mention too.
Ive had both mate..so I should know what Im on about.

Ebc yellow stuff on stock sized dimpled and slotted RDA rotors. All off the shelf shit. 240kwatw and I'm not having any issues, more than enough braking power.

Well I'm thinking of a different direction I'm thinking of minicooper brake rotors 276mm 44mm in height 64mm center hole 22mm thickness 4x100 slotted and ts magna dual pot brakes for the front

be carefull with mini disk because of how thin they are when the disk and pad get low you can drop the pads out of the calliper
