yeh thats how much the standard one from stant was, but i went for the high flow one

yea i've noticed that as well...

the aftermarket ones they sell around here all have a really really tiny hole compared to the larger hole the stock has.

i've always wondered if that would have an impact of the cooling system.

The old stock thermostats had rubber around them that perished plus they had a large hole - manufacturers have moved away from this design over the years and you're right, they go for like $140 probably due to manufacturing costs and rarity of the part. The newer smaller hole units with the brass needle and seat work better and will last longer and can be had a lot cheaper.

SBR sucks.... They suck terribly! I spent about 2800usd with them and got really screwed over, if anyone's interested the story is posted over on galantvr4.org in the badguy section as well as many other bad sbr business.

Extremepsi.com is VERY helpful, I deal with "Hung" and he always gives me good deals.

For smaller parts that won't cost a ton to ship I'd be happy to send them out for you guys personally, if you would like to see my feedback on ebay my username is "Street_Surgeon", my paypal is verified (28) and in good standing (of course) and I'm known as "Street Surgeon" on gvr4.org etc.

I'm not sure how much shipping would be to you folks but I could look in to it. I tried this once before and the shipping was pretty reasonable, but I'm not familiar with the taxes or tariffs involved. Anyways I could check. Take care!

yes... Extreme PSI is great, very helpful, very quick/cheap with shipping etc.

I find the SBR website is only good for doing research on products before buying it off someone else
