Hey folks I'm hoping to get into an evo 6.5 in the not to distant future and have been googling hard,,got specs comming out my ass but what I realy want to know is what are the seat of the pants differences between a 6 and 6.5. Does it actualy feel quicker and in what way,.does it handle better and is the steering response noticably sharper/quicker.Has anyone driven the two back to back to see for themselves.
Thanx in advance doods

cheers joe

huh? someone shoved a pair of glasses up your ass? lol
From all accounts Ive heard TM 6.5 > 6 hands down feels much better to drive.
Spools better (due to titanium turbo), handles better and has better steering response.

Thanx mate I'm basicly after a car thats a rip snorter out of the box and the TME looks to be the goods.I was thinking r32 GTR or Legnum but I've always liked smaller cars and the other two are a bit hefty. My current rides are a 92 gtx familia with a busted gearbox and a poverty pack 90 pulsar which I picked up cheap when the fam busted. The familia is a rad little car but the gearboxes are weak and near imposible to find,,sure footed little beast though.

if your not planning on doing any mods the TME is obviously better out of the box but a 6 with minor mods is easily as good and probably can be aquired for a less the price of the TME.
I have driven both back to back and the difference i found wasnt that noticeable, but thats just me. I wasnt overly a big fan of the 6.

Thanx guys,,I do intend to test drive when I'm ready to buy but most adds I've seen require proof of finance,a kidney as deposit and a letter from your mum just to test drive one.
I dont want to buy something that needs moding and the handeling, quicker steering and quieter exhaust sound just the ticket.Any and all info is much apreciated and not being a tech head, the seat of the pants is more usefull to me.

cheers joe
