Second hand forged rods - what to look for?

I can't believe you would even consider using second hand rods in a fresh engine build......

haha! You're right guys.

I was actually going to get these second hand ones and pair them up with new ARP2000 rod bolts, but even then I wouldn't be able to sleep easy at night unless I got them tested (it's like having a one-night stand without protection)...and if I get them tested + cost of new rod bolts I may as well buy new ones!

I've found built4g63.com to be the best $ to date. May not be the absolute cheapest, but comes close and the communication is very quick/professional.

It's all about the $AUD at the moment tho =(

Don't forget that built4g63 is the latest incarnation of Slowboy Racing....
And extremepsi is cheaper too.
Don't forget about the K1 rods, good results in the usa.
