You can buy replacement cartridges for those pieces of crap from the seller, I think it's JustJap?

Its scary the numder of G4/ D2 shocks that seem to leak even before the 2 yr wty is finished. On the other hand, my Hotbits (which still aren't perfect) have survived 3 years of competition use and still no leaks.

better for them to leak whilst still under warranty than just after the warranty runs out *glares at washing machine*

You can push a bone stock jspec prefacelift on 12psi to 13.88@99mph. With half decent suspension (read springs/shocks). If I can do it, anyone can. I hate dragstrips.

If your car is chewing fuel it's generally a bung o2 sensor or a problem with timing.

As far as the PPG gearbox... if you can afford it and you're going to wail on your car that much, why not? You may as well grab a quaife front LSD too...

er, because a dog box is a complete pig to drive at low speeds (basically anytime your on the street) and is completely un-necessary for what your aiming for.

For peace of mind you could fit some steel evo shift forks when you rebuild the gearbox, but other than that the only real weak link is the centre diff, and even those will take alot of abuse before failing.

depends which dogbox you get, there are some that are perfectly fine to drive at lower speeds, just need to learn positive shifting but agreed not needed until you get down to low 11s high 10s
