Dunno, that's why I asked if someone could check it. It would replicate what you rear wheels do we the car squats on take off, and also what happens when you hit the brake and the weight shifts to the front.

I guess this would be different between the lancer and the galant too.

The Galant spreads its legs hooribly when it lowers (as you know) and the lancer multi link rear end seems to have less dynamic change.

Im gonna try this next time i think.

the reason why suspension shops set a car up with more negative camber and more posistive castor on the left hand side is because of the austrlian rds most are cambered too the left soo by setting up with that in mind the car won't pull to the left cars that have tapped gutters too the left hand side allways pull to the left

and also if you pull down the car either front or rear with wheel alligner heads on you can see how much the toe changes mitsubsishis tend to toe out when pulled down

Well that easily explains it. The settings on mine in the attachment on the previous page shows more left -'ve camber and more left +'ve castor. Good to know :)

i remember reading somewhere about how too reduce overstear and understear

Generally, stiffer rear end to eliminate understeer. Bigger swaybar at least.

it was something too do with the TOE on the rear i cant remember which way worked

Rear toe out= oversteer
Which in effect postpones or part eliminates the understeer.

Basically you want to state what settings you want from reserch and what suite's your driving(track, strip, street) find what then works for you and what doesn't, and relate this characteristic's back to the aligner, they if they are any good will be ableto make adjustments from your feedback and work from there.

If its just for a daily there are pleanty of threads on what members are using and settings for what purpose its used for.

There is a lot in susspension settings to trial and error when you get right into it, its why they call it an art getting the set up that works for the car and the drivers style.

GL with it

Don't forget that CC platform Evo's & GSR's have a pretty short wheelbase which tends makes them 'twitchy' at high speed no matter what you do to the suspension.
