Short shifter?

Hey people i'm not able to do much since the doc has labled me unable to work to im cleard again.
but im playing with a broken lancer shifter fixed the broken part that was no prob.
but i want to make a short shifter from it now the shifter cable mounting points thinking move from center of pin (5 mm) on both pins. then on the arm drop that 30 mm.
not sure if this will work any idea's please i don't know never made a short shifter or even if some one has mesurement's that would help me so much.

Ive got a Mikeys Famous short shifter for sale $100
BTW its not as easy as you would think to make yourself unless you have one already done to copy the dimensions off.
